Candidate is the recruitment lens on your IPP record. Your competence is assessed by the institute, the outcomes you delivered are confirmed by the sponsors who saw them, and you decide when any of it is visible. Recruiters see what has been verified and what you have stated, each clearly labelled.
The line that does the work
A CV is one undifferentiated block of claims, which is why a recruiter has to check all of it. Candidate labels each fact with its source and keeps the two classes visibly apart, enforced in the data rather than the layout. IPP vouches for exactly what it has checked, which is what keeps the verified half worth something.
The crown jewel
Anyone can write "delivered a £40m programme to time and cost". Almost nobody can have their sponsor confirm it. That is the one thing a recruiter cannot get anywhere else, and it is the reason this is not another profile site.
Project, organisation, your role, the period, and each outcome as a separate confirmable statement. All the effort sits with you, deliberately.
A single link, straight from the email, about thirty seconds. The ask comes from you, because it is a favour between colleagues and lands far better than a platform asking cold.
Who confirmed it, what exactly they confirmed, and when. The link is single use and expires. Edit an endorsed claim later and the endorsement is voided, not carried over.
The sponsor's work email matched the organisation the outcome was delivered at. The signal a recruiter should weight most.
A real, identifiable person confirmed it, but from a personal address. Worth something, shown as the lighter badge it is.
Your own words, never presented as verified. Shown, because hiding it would make the record look better than it is.
Trust is tiered rather than binary on purpose. One flat "verified" stamp would be easier to build and less honest, and a recruiter who cannot see the difference cannot weigh the risk themselves.
Who is looking
Access to the window is granted per agency, by us, one at a time. Nobody browses it casually, and no agency sees your contact details from a search result. When you publish, you are putting your record in front of a known set of organisations rather than the open internet.
If you hold an IPP membership, your verified core is built. Add your availability, claim the outcomes you are proud of, ask the sponsors who were there, and publish when you are ready.
